In Matthew 16: 1-3 Jesus rebuked some of the religious leaders because they could discern the signs in the sky predicting the weather but they could not discern prophetic signs.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, Paul says because we live in the light of God’s revelation, we should be alert and watching the signs of the times.
Prophetic Signs
· Prophetic signs are signals from God meant to awaken us,
alert us and inform us about the future.
· Since God lives outside of time, He has written in the Bible prophetic
signs for our learning so we can prepare ourselves for the future.
